To get the real taste, bouquet y juiciness caracteristics of our Cured hams we recommend follow these points:
1. Place the piece (ham with bone) on a ham holder. .
2. Take a long thin knife (toothless) sharp, and if possible reserve it just for cutting ham.
3. Cut the ham into small slices. Cut them from the hoof to the tip, making sure that the cuts are always parallel.
4. The outermost layer of fat must be cut just before consumption.
5. For better preservation of the ham, it will be covered with the leftover fat coat and a clean cloth above.
6. If the consumption is going to be slow, start the ham in the following order: “Contramaza”, “Maza” and finally “Punta”
7. If the consumption is going to be quick or you want a more attractive cut, start the ham from the “Maza”, continue with “Contramaza” and finally “Punta”
8. Store preferably in a cool and dry place.
